Great Plains bullets are made especially for hunting. They feature an innovative, three diameter bearing surface that makes them easy to load. The base diameter which is smaller than the bore of the rifle makes the bullet easy to start. Upon firing, the thin skirt of the hollow base expands to engage the rifling and seal the bore. This engineering design makes the Great Plains bullet more accurate in more types of muzzleloaders, and makes it one of the deadliest bullets ever made. Hollow and solid point versions let you match bullet weight and performance to the type of game you plan to hunt. Specially knurled grooves are pre-lubed. The .45 cal and .50 cal are in 20 packs, while the .54 and .58 cal are in 15 packs.
