Slot and spline design. Rugged steel construction. Bases have a .25 degree slope for long-range shooting applications. 8-40 adaptable mounts accept 6-48 shoulder screws and the new 8-40 screws. Both are included. The 8-40 screws increase mount strength by 41 percent and are ideal for large caliber rifles. Matte black finish.
